I am so excited! I just finished my Kwanzaa packet. I am going to give one of them away Monday night (12/9). Leave your name and email address on my Facebook page if you’d like a chance to win it.
Students will stack the word cards on the page above. There is a colorful version and a black and white version. There is also a page with directions that you will include with the center so students won’t interrupt your small group lesson.
There are 24 colorful and 24 black and white word cards that the students will use to make sentences. The sentences can be real or nonsense sentences.
This is the other set of word cards. The word cards tell facts about Kwanzaa.
After the students finish making and reading the sentences, they will record their answers on one of the top two pages above. Or your students can write a story about Kwanzaa on the bottom page.
You can use the mini book above with your small group. Send it home for additional practice.
There are 3 different interactive journal printables. These are a great way to integrate social studies and reading!
